Improvisational Patchwork Workshop

This is a workshop offered by Denyse Schmidt, a quilter out of Bridgeport who I am interning with this summer. To create the quilting squares we had to select a piece from the above pictured bags at random and attach it where it fit best on your working square. Face and Hair Patches







My friend James screen-printed these faces for his little brother's 4th grade class in Virginia. The kids drew the pictures of themselves. I cut out and sewed them as patches!
